Celebrating 50 years at Nine Elms: William Thorogood Live on BBC Radio London!

We're thrilled to announce that our director, William Thorogood, will be interviewed by Salma Al-Wahardy on BBC Radio London this Monday, November 11th, at 6 am! This special interview celebrates the 50th anniversary of New Covent Garden Market’s move to Nine Elms—a significant milestone in the history of British fresh produce.

When the market first opened its doors in Nine Elms, S. Thorogood & Sons was proud to be one of the original tenants. Over the years, our business has grown alongside the market, and today, the Thorogood Group remains a leading force at NCGM. We're also proud to be the only wholesale business with a presence in all three of London’s major fruit and vegetable wholesale markets!

With family heritage in fresh produce dating back to 1922, we look forward to sharing our journey, our commitment to quality, and our vision for the future of British produce. Please tune in to hear more about our story and celebrate this milestone with us.

You can listen to BBC Radio London live on BBC Sounds at bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/live:bbc-london or BBC Radio London on 94.9FM or Digital Radio (DAB)
